Jewellery Designer Dara Dubinet made Britney Spears a ring for her to wear in the fast-approaching Grammy Awards on February. Dubinet’s design of a black Chinese agate rock ring is said to amount to US$27,000.00

Dubinet started working on this unique gem when she saw Spears wearing a Tourmaline ring she had also created for the pop icon as a birthday gift. The said Tourmaline ring was worn by Spears on an appearnce on a U.S. morning show Good Morning America last December of 2008.  Spears was 27 then.

Dubinet told the press that Spears loved her Tourmaline birthday gift. Sources said that the said ring was worn by the pop star on sevral occassions. Thus, connotating that the ring provides positive energy. “It makes her smile”
